The Bible
We believe the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit and given for the benefit of doctrine and teaching, correcting and rebuking, and for instruction for righteous living, so that man may be perfected, complete, and well equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The Trinity
We believe in the one true God who exists eternally in three persons as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:10-11; Luke 3:22; John 17:20-21; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
God
We believe God the Father is the creator of heaven, earth, and all mankind. He spoke the universe and all of creation into existence and remains omnipresent, overseeing all from beginning to the end (Genesis 1:1; Genesis 1:27; Psalm 33:9; Proverbs 15:3; Revelation 21:6).
Jesus
We believe God’s Son Jesus Christ came to earth in human flesh, by way of a virgin birth, to offer complete atonement of sin by his blood, which was poured out for us as He sacrificially died on the cross. However, Jesus Christ overcame death when He was resurrected from the grave and ascended to heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God the Father and judges both the living and the dead, for no one comes to the Father except through the Son. At an appointed time, known only by the Father alone, Jesus Christ will return again to this earth with power and great glory, to rule as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and with Him will be His called, chosen, and faithful followers. (Matthew 1:22-23; Matthew 3:17; Hebrews 9:15-22; Matthew 26:28; Matthew 27:22-54; Matthew 28:1-9; Mark 16:19; 2 Timothy 4:1; John 14:6; Matthew 24:36; Matthew 24:29-30; Revelation 17:14).
The Holy Spirit
We believe at the time of Jesus Christ’s ascension, God the Father sent the Helper, the Holy Spirit, as a mighty counselor of truth and wisdom, to help remind us of our knowledge and understanding of all that Jesus Christ has taught, so that we may have an advocate and comforter in His name and retain a reverent fear of the Lord (John 14:26; Isaiah 11:2).
Man
We believe God created man in His own image, as male and female, into whom He breathed life. God had a perfect plan for man and gave him dominion over all creation as His crowning achievement. However, man rebelled against God and sinned in disobedience. Through sin, man was separated from God, and in the absence of salvation, is subject to judgment and eternal condemnation (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:7; Genesis 1:31; Psalms 8:4-6; Genesis 2:17; Genesis 3:6; Genesis 3:22-24; Luke 13:23-28).
Salvation
We believe that the only path to eternal salvation and everlasting life is through Jesus Christ, who by His sacrifice on the cross, given out of grace and love, restores us to a righteous relationship with God. This salvation is available to all, not by way of good works; but rather, through the faith of confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is the resurrected Lord (John 14:6; John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 1 John 1:9; Ephesian 2:8-9; Romans 10:8-10).
